Having gained experience in the confectionery and baking industry, she has built her career while cherishing the belief that "food is an everyday form of entertainment."
Currently, in the e-commerce division, she is in charge of sales promotion planning and content creation, playing a role in delivering the value of food to a wider audience.
I was involved in the retail business of confectionery and baking ingredients at my previous company, Cuoca*, and started working at Tomizawa Shouten in 2017 when the business was acquired
I originally came from an art-focused high school and was interested in careers related to expression, such as painting and theater.
Within that context, I realized that "food" is a form of entertainment that people of all ages experience on a daily basis, and that's why I decided to pursue a career in the food industry.
In my twenties, I gained experience working as a pastry chef, and later, seeking a more stable work environment, I switched to another shop in the same industry.
Even back then, TomizawaShoutenwas like a senior colleague and mentor to me, so when I was given the opportunity to work there, I felt a great sense of responsibility.

Currently, I work in the e-commerce division, where I am responsible for planning and managing product-based sales promotions
I am involved in both consumer (B2C) and business (B2B) websites, creating product and feature pages, and planning and executing strategies based on sales data analysis. I work
in collaboration with multiple departments, including the product department, inventory management, and warehousing, constantly considering "how to present" and "how to deliver" products.
Additionally, for our business-to-business website, we sometimes visit customers in person to gather feedback from the field.
Leveraging my experience in the product department, I'm also involved in product-centric tasks such as communicating with suppliers and organizing product information.
The rewarding aspect of this job is being able to play a role in connecting creators and users
One of the projects that left a lasting impression on me was the launch of the e-commerce column.
We designed it from an SEO perspective,Shoutenkeeping in mind the goal of creating a natural path for search users to find
At the time, it was a competitive area, but by carefully organizing "what to communicate and at what depth" and building up content accordingly, we increased traffic and expanded the reach of our site
In disseminating information, we prioritize not simply providing a large quantity, but conveying it with the appropriate level of detail, maintaining our credibility as a long-established company, and delivering the information people want in the format they need
I believe the essence of this job lies in navigating the supplier's perspective and the recipient's viewpoint to arrive at the optimal solution
E-commerce is an environment that demands speed and change
Through my experience, I've come to realize the importance of knowing when to stop something rather than sticking with it.
Instead of stubbornly pursuing initiatives that aren't yielding results, it's necessary to change direction and reallocate resources according to the situation.
Therefore, I always proceed with my work while constantly questioning "why am I doing this?" and "what am I aiming for?"
Our company is comprised of members, each with their own area of expertise, and we all work by leveraging our specialized skills.
What we all have in common is a love of food, and I feel that this passion is reflected in our work.
Furthermore, despite being a long-established company, one of our distinguishing features is our rapid decision-making process and our ability to flexibly change policies when necessary
I have experience in multiple departments, including product development, marketing, and e-commerce.
I believe that connecting these different perspectives allows me to view the business in a more comprehensive way.
Going forward, we intend to continue cherishing our core principle of "being involved in food culture and conveying its value," while also taking on the responsibility of disseminating information that builds trust as a specialty store
TomizawaShoutenis a company that is constantly growing while adapting to change.
In this environment, I believe it's important to accept changes in the environment and methods while continuously thinking about what you want to achieve.
For those who are interested in food and find it enjoyable to "communicate" its value, this is a very rewarding environment
We would love to work with people who share our desire to enrich someone's dining experience through the work they do
