The fact that the workplace at the time was easily accessible from my home and that I felt it was an environment where I could work long-term while balancing work and family life was also a deciding factor in my joining the company.
After joining the company, I had the opportunity to work in the product department, and while gaining various experiences, I am now involved in departmental management as a manager
Currently, I work in the Merchandising Department, primarily handling purchasing and a wide range of other product-related tasks.
As a liaison with suppliers, I handle price revisions, specification changes, and negotiations for new products. I also collaborate with many departments, including manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and warehousing, to ensure that products are sold appropriately.
Many people are involved before a product reaches the customer.
Our important role is to find the optimal solution while respecting each person's position and opinion.
Even when working on multiple projects every day, we strive to make decisions based on the motto of "customer first, and fair business practices."
The rewarding aspect of this job is being involved in the entire process, from product development to sales. I feel immense joy
when the products I've worked on are displayed in stores and picked up by customers, and especially when I receive feedback such as, "It was delicious," or "I want to buy it again."
On the other hand, coordinating between departments is by no means easy
When making decisions while considering the opinions of many stakeholders, I always keep in mind "what is the ultimate goal?" I
believe that continuously thinking from the perspective of overall optimization has helped cultivate my coordination and decision-making skills.
As a manager, what I value most is not "motivating people based on their position," but "building trust through equal relationships."
I believe that building relationships by sincerely engaging with each individual, regardless of gender or position, will ultimately lead to maximizing the team's potential.
Throughout my career, balancing work and family life has been a major theme.
There was a period when I took a break from work to become a full-time housewife, but I later returned to the workforce and restarted my career as a part-time employee.
Currently, I am involved in organizational management as a manager.
The opportunities I have been given to take on challenges and the experiences of having my efforts recognized have been a great source of support for my personal growth and career development.
Furthermore, the experience I've gained in different industries and various roles has given me the ability to think about things from multiple perspectives.
That's why I want to continue working to create an organization where we can grow together with our members while respecting diverse values.
The product department is a vibrant workplace with many interactions both inside and outside the company.
Communication is active on a daily basis, and there's a culture of natural cooperation when problems arise.
The close proximity between departments and the ease of seeking advice are also major attractions.
I personally believe that one of the reasons I've been able to work here for so long is this "closeness with people."
Going forward, I intend to leverage my past experience to further enhance my expertise.
At the same time, I want to dedicate myself to nurturing the next generation of talent and creating a comfortable working environment, contributing to the creation of a workplace where everyone can feel secure and thrive for the long term.
This job involves working closely with many people, making adjustments, and consistently making optimal decisions.
If you enjoy interacting with people and embrace change, you'll find this environment incredibly rewarding.
We look forward to working with people who share our desire to "deliver value to customers through our products" and "grow with us while working for the long term."
