Tomizawa Shouten Co., Ltd., which was founded 106 years ago and is one of Japan's largest specialty stores for confectionery and bread-making ingredients and equipment, will be holding two trial lessons for parents and children in August 2025 as a special summer holiday event: a "Pastry Chef Experience" and an "Independent Research Project."

Tomizawa Shouten Jiyugaoka Studio (official name: TOMIZAWA SHOUTEN × cuoca STUDIO) in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo, will be hosting a three-day "Cream Puff Making Experience to Experience the Feeling of a Pastry Chef" for elementary school students, where they can have fun while learning about the principles behind why cream puffs rise. Additionally, TOMIZ COMMUNITY SPACE, a rental kitchen space located adjacent to the studio in Tamagawa, Shibuya, will be running a two-day "Jelly Making for Independent Research" experience, where participants can learn while having fun with the changes in color and the differences in ingredients. This special lesson is perfect for parents and children to enjoy as they carry out their summer vacation independent research and create memories
