Founded 106 years ago as one of Japan's largest specialty stores for confectionery and baking ingredients and equipment, Tomizawa Shouten will reopen the revamped Shouten on Saturday, March 7, 2026,
the Tomizawa Shouten Takamatsu Mitsukoshi Store is a specialty store offering approximately 2,100 varieties of confectionery and baking ingredients, cooking utensils, and food ingredients. With a lineup suitable for a wide range of uses, from beginners to professionals, the store caters to a variety of occasions, from everyday baking and bread making to choosing souvenirs and gifts.
In this refreshed reopening, the sales floor configuration and product placement have been revised to make it easier to see and choose. This store, which has been patronized by customers in the Kagawa and Shikoku areas, has been updated to a space that is easy to use on a daily basis, and will continue to support the "creating time" of local residents.
In addition, Takamatsu Mitsukoshi, where Tomizawa Shouten Takamatsu Mitsukoshi is located, will be holding a 95th anniversary celebration from Wednesday, March 18th to Tuesday, March 24th, 2026. To coincide with this 95th anniversary celebration, Tomizawa Shouten Takamatsu Mitsukoshi will be holding special events to celebrate the building's milestone.
