Recently, our human resources recruitment staff gave a career education lecture to 119 sixth graders at Machida City Koyama Chuo Elementary School
TomizawaShoutenis founded in Machida City,106 a local company .
It has been about two years since we moved our headquarters to Tamasakai in Machida City.
Our desire to contribute more to Machida, the place where we were founded, has grown stronger, and
as our first step in that direction, we have started participating in this career education program.
This lecture wasour company's first career education lecture.
That's why we made sure to cherish the time we spent with the children and carefully explain things about the company and our work.

In the lecture, Tomizawa Shouten
We introduced the following
The logistics center stores and there were approximately 9,000 items,
moments when the children looked surprised, exclaiming, "What?! All of this comes from here?!"
In my talk,Shoutenhas many different job types, and that
there are truly a wide variety of jobs within a single company I introduced the fact that
that much of that work is done daily at the company headquarters in Tamasakai When I explained
the children listened attentively, surprised, saying, "So all those jobs are in the same town!" Following that, I said,
"For example, if you like to draw, that could lead to a job designing packaging,"
"What you enjoy doing now could become your job in the future."
The children's eyes lit up even more, and
it was impressive to see how they truly grasped the message that "what you love can lead to your future."

On the day, the sixth graders spread out their notebooks and took notes enthusiastically, listening to the talk with serious expressions on their faces
During the question time,
The students continued to ask sharp questions that rivaled those of adults, and even the instructors were surprised
During the lecture, when asked the quiz question, "What is the most important thing in a job interview?",
the children thought deeply before raising their hands and clearly expressing their opinions.
A. A cheerful greeting
B. Make eye contact when speaking
C. Speak calmly
Upon seeing these options,
some children realized, "They're all correct!" and they
"there isn't just one right answer in an interview; it's a time to see what makes a person unique."
